5. PROFESSIONAL:
There are several companies that want to meet SHPE members before the career fair. Please answer the survey ASAP, if you are interested in meeting recruiters from any of the companies below, as we have to RSVP.

a. My name is Rosangela Dominguez (ChBE 12) and I work for Ingersoll Rand as a Sale Engineer in Davidson, NC. Ingersoll Rand is interested in coming to campus and spreading the news not only about our Early Talent programs but also about the Sales Engineering as a career option. I would love to gather all of the professional organizations (ASME, AICHE , SHPE, etc) together and give an information session about technical sales. The current idea would be to rent out an auditorium and invite all of the professional organizations on campus. Please let me know if  SHPE would be interested in participating or potentially spearheading this opportunity

b. GE Healthcare will be on your campus recruiting for spring co-ops and summer internships. In an attempt to the strengthen the relationship between student organizations and GE Healthcare recruiters, we’d like to have a Meet and Greet with student body members from your organizations to discuss prospective careers with GE Healthcare, specifically for the Operations Management Leadership Program (It’s a two-year program consisting of four six-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotation assignments and world class training).
Meet and Greet on Monday, September 10th starting around 6p lasting an hour. If this is something your organization would be interested in, please reply with an answer by Tuesday, August 28th to allow time to plan the event.

c. Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in jet engines powering such aircraft as the Boeing 747, Airbus A320, F-22 Raptor, F-35 lightning and many more. Come hear more about who they are, the world class engineering they do and how you could build a career with them. There will be an info session in the Student Success Center (attached to the stadium) on Thursday Sept 6th and dinner will be served!
We’d also like to encourage you and your members to apply online ahead of time at www.utcjobs.com/college. I know online applications seem like a black hole, but I promise that we will be reviewing the submitted resumes and we would still like to talk to students at the career fair after submittal.
