Interested in knowing what an engineer does at BCG? Hear it from Louis, a principal at BCG…
At BCG, our aspiration is to change clients, industries, business, even society. Your success in this depends more on your talents than on the focus of your degree. People with a background in many subjects—business, natural sciences, philosophy, finance, engineering, history—thrive at BCG.hobson_pt
Louis joined BCG Chicago as an associate in 2004 after earning a BS in electrical engineering from Stanford. After two years at BCG, he returned to Stanford for an MBA sponsored by BCG, and rejoined the firm in 2008 as a consultant.  Prior to joining BCG, Louis played varsity football at Stanford and was a three-time member of the Pac-10 All-Academic team.  He also worked at Partner for Academic Excellence and Maxim Integrated Products, and interned at Lehman Brothers.  In his leisure time, Louis enjoys watching college and professional football, reading mystery novels, and playing basketball.
"After working as an engineer intern during college, I wanted to change direction and build my business acumen. I decided there was no better place than BCG. The unbelievably talented yet down-to-earth and fun group of people really set BCG apart.
The constant challenges at BCG have helped me grow in so many ways. I never imagined how much I could learn in such a short period of time."
Our culture is renowned for its extensive choices, unrivalled apprenticeships, and rapid advancement. Start your career at a company that consistently ranks as the leader in its field as well as one of the best places to work.
